We process information you provide in the store, checkout, customer account or when contacting us. This may include identity and contact details, billing and delivery details, order and return data, payment status, communications and consent records. Technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, pages visited and cookie identifiers also arises when the store is used.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Orders, payment, delivery and customer accounts: performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Tax, commercial and record-keeping duties: compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Store security, fraud prevention and legal claims: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Optional analytics, marketing or convenience features: consent where required (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time for future processing.
- Customer enquiries: contract performance, pre-contractual steps or our legitimate interest in customer support, depending on the request.
4. Recipients and service providers
Where necessary, data is shared with Shopify as our commerce and hosting provider, the payment provider selected at checkout, shipping and logistics providers, and IT, communications, security and professional service providers. They receive only the data required for their task and must process it under applicable data protection rules. We do not share data for a third party's own advertising without an appropriate legal basis.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally permitted transfer mechanism.
6. Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for its purpose. Contract and accounting records are retained for statutory periods. Enquiry data without an ongoing purpose is regularly deleted, while security logs are normally kept only for a limited period. Consent and withdrawal records are retained as evidence.
7. Cookies and consent
Necessary cookies support the cart, checkout, sign-in, language selection and store security. Optional analytics or marketing technologies are activated only after consent where required. You can change your choice for future use through the cookie settings.
8. Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation, and you may withdraw consent at any time for the future.
You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority. To exercise your rights, contact info@celovia.de. We may request proof of identity to prevent unauthorised disclosure.
9. Required information
Details marked as required at checkout are necessary to conclude and perform the contract. Without them, we cannot process an order. Optional information and marketing consent are not required to purchase.
